Family Owned & Operated for over 50 Years

Commercial & Residential — Specializing in Tar & Chip Seal Paving

The Burke family began paving over 50 years ago. Today, John Burke and his staff continue the tradition of providing quality paving services and great value. We're very proud of our work, and are honored to tell you about our company.

Don Sr. started operations as Kerr County Paving way back in 1951, when he began patching factory holes in Detroit. When paving would wrap up for the season in December due to bad weather, Sr. and his new wife would travel to Kerrville, TX for Christmas and to escape the harsh winter months.

Sr. had some great and loyal employees and the company quickly grew, along with the size of his family... 9 children (6 girls and 3 boys). The boys all went to college, then went to work on the asphalt crew. Being the oldest, I took over for Sr. and then branched out with Chip & Seal Paving.

Specializing in Tar & Chip, which is a more cost-effective type of paving, Chip & Seal Paving's main objective is to satisfy our customers. We know that repeat business and profit will follow from that simple philosophy.

Using this formula, both Chip & Seal Paving and Kerr County Paving hardly advertise at all, but have been successful due to our loyal repeat customers, and great word of mouth. The way the economy is today, I have decided to bring the company, attitude and successful formula to the internet, to reach out to new customers throughout Texas, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Michigan and immediate surrounding areas.

Unfortunately, due to overly aggressive salesmen, the paving industry has gathered a mixed reputation. Chip & Seal Paving and Kerr County Paving can assure our customers that we will never use a high-pressure, pushy approach. We will measure, explain, answer your questions and price your project... then we want you to sleep on our quote. We know that you'll get back to us when you are ready, and are completely comfortable with the process.

That is our commitment to you — quality workmanship, competitive pricing and no hard sell.

Sincerely,
John Burke
